Tigabelas tahun yang lalu gue mengalami kejadian yang sangat "devastating". Kejadian yang tidak pernah terbayang dan terpikirkan akan terjadi dalam kehidupan gue. Tapi ya memang alur cerita kehidupan susah sekali untuk ditebak dan diatur, hanya Yang Kuasa yang menentukan semuanya.

Rasa sakit dalam hati ngga bisa gue gambarkan dengan kata-kata karena sepertinya tidak ada kata-kata yang tepat untuk menggambarkan kepedihan dan kesakitan yang gue rasakan saat itu. Dunia gue seolah-olah menciut dan gue sampai ada rasa ketakutan untuk keluar rumah dan ketemu orang lain walau itu teman sendiri. Gue bener-bener berada pada kondisi emosi yang sangat memprihatinkan........gue udah mengalami depresi berat. In my own despair with nobody to lean on, I heard this song and I cried. I realised that the first thing I needed to get through this is to believe in me. A song that gave me strength to get up and live life again and the lyrics of this song goes.......

Setiap gue merasa sedih dan sendiri, gue selalu putar lagu ini dan semangat baru biasanya langsung timbul. Makna dari kata-kata diatas sangat menyentuh perasaan gue setiap kali gue dengarkan lagu ini. Itulah salah satu alasan kenapa Mariah Carey merupakan salah satu penyanyi favorit gue sampai sekarang.....
